Sharni Vinson is an Australian-American performer, actress and dancer born on July 22, 1983, in Sydney Australia. Sharni Vinson debuted as an actress in 2001, when she portrayed a role in Home and Away, a soap opera in Australia. She was chosen to be the main character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away due to her performance in this limited part was so captivating that the casting agents wanted her to play different roles. The actress did however attempt to audition but she wasn't selected. Instead, on the same show, she played the role of Cassie Turner, the troubled teenage girl who was being looked after by foster parents.
