Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is writer of a number of famous American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which began in 2002. Ina began her career in writing nuclear energy policies and budgets of the White House. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating however she soon lost interest, and opened a food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. After selling the store it took her more than 18 years building it to an extremely successful business. Many more cookbooks, and magazines columnists that followed. Between them she also had her own Food Network show was also successful. She also sells a range of product from cooking ingredients as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina never went to any cookery schools nor was she employed at a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual style of creating and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet with Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
