Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and performer. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". But she is primarily a music lover. She maintains that music is her first passion. She is experimenting at since she was 9 years old. At the age of 12 the world of music had become serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. In 2013, she picked on songwriting and produced her first album. Since then there has been no looking back. Orrantia is a native of America and has Hispanic roots. Although she was raised speaking only English and was never in Mexico she's very proud of her Hispanic culture. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs that incorporate the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she has recorded, can be a perfect instance. Orrantia was picked to perform for The X Factor's first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was chosen by a panel of YouTube videos and received four "yeses," from judges at Seattle in the live audition stage. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. However, three female singers along with her were grouped together to perform the rest of her tracks. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
