Hayley Orantia is American singer, actress and performer. The majority of people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She believes that she is an artist first and foremost. According to her, is the very first thing she loves. She started playing with it when she was nine years old. When she was 12 she was taking the music seriously enough that she began studying professionally. At the age of 13 when she began writing herself songs. The first album she released as a cover didn't come out until fourteen years later. Since then there has been never a moment to rest. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic roots. While she grew up with exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic culture. Her goal is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the Spanish language. She has recorded a Spanish version of a track called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia, who was initially chosen through YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle during live audition phase. She originally auditioned solo, but during the "Hollywood week" she was paired with three other female vocalists into a trio for remaining auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week of live performances.
